Isometric Escape is a point-and-click puzzle game where you work your way out of a set of small isometric rooms. You hunt for objects, figure out what each one is for, and chain those clues together until the exit opens.
It is free, runs in the browser, and needs no download or account. The whole thing rests on observation and a bit of memory rather than reflexes.

What is Isometric Escape?
It is a 2D escape-room adventure made by isotronic and released in February 2023. Each level drops you into a room drawn from an isometric angle, with items hidden in plain sight and locks that only open once you have the right piece or code. You click around, pick things up, combine or use them, and read the room for hints. Solve every puzzle and the door lets you leave for the next room.
Clicking, collecting and using items
Everything is handled with the mouse. The left button does the looking, grabbing and using.
| Action | Desktop | Mobile |
|---|---|---|
| Inspect a spot | Left click the object | Tap the object |
| Pick up an item | Left click it | Tap it |
| Select from inventory | Left click the item | Tap the item |
| Use or combine items | Click item then target | Tap item then target |
Reading an isometric room
The isometric angle means parts of the room sit behind furniture or at the edges of your view. Click corners, drawers, shelves and the undersides of objects. A clue you miss early often blocks a lock later, so sweep the whole room before you assume you are stuck.
How the puzzles and locks connect
Most rooms run on a chain: one find unlocks the next. Here are the puzzle types you run into and what they ask of you.
| Puzzle type | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Hidden objects | Spot and collect items tucked into the scene |
| Code locks | Read a number or symbol clue somewhere in the room |
| Item use | Apply a collected object to the right spot |
| Item combine | Join two items in the inventory into one tool |
| Memory clues | Recall a pattern or order shown earlier |
Is Isometric Escape free and unblocked?
Yes. The game loads straight in the browser, so it works on school or work machines wherever browser games are allowed, with nothing to install. There is also a free mobile app on Google Play if you would rather play on a phone or tablet, but this page runs the full game on its own.
Tips for getting out faster
- Click every surface in a room before deciding you are stuck; the isometric view hides things.
- Note any numbers, colors or symbols you see, since they usually feed a lock somewhere.
- Check your inventory often and try combining items that look related.
- Use your memory: patterns shown once are often needed later.
- Work backward from a locked thing and ask what item or code it wants.
Why the escape loop holds up
The satisfying part is the moment a clue you noticed three steps ago suddenly explains a lock. The rooms are small enough that progress feels steady, and because it leans on logic and memory instead of timing, you can take it slow. If you clear the set and want more, the same developer made Escape or Die in a similar vein.

Isometric Escape also has a mobile app. Keep playing here, or get it from Google Play.
